As singer-songwriter with roots in improvisational composing on the piano, David Neylon's music seamlessly bridges genres of pop-folk and soul, storytelling and screen.

With an extensive background in video and film production, he's worked behind the camera with A-list celebrities and powerhouse brands like Complex, Buzzfeed, NBC, Showtime, and more — giving him a rare dual perspective on how music lives both on screen and in story.

As a Chicago-native and Chicago-based artist, Neylon quickly made a home performing in some of downtown Chicago's finest hotels, he launched a cover song act called Echo Strummer which provides incredible singing-guitarists for events around the Chucagoland area, and gained a residency at

O'Brien's Riverwalk Café on the renown Chicago Riverwalk for the 2025 summer season.

His bold and fearless personality have also garnered attention from WBBM News Radio for his live show at Lolla in the Loop and locked in a spot in a lineup of some of Los Angeles' best musical talent at the Nitelight Hollywood Showcase. ​
